There is currently a vacancy for a Town Councillor to represent the Drybridge Ward of Monmouth.
This is a voluntary position although limited telephone and travelling expenses are payable.
If 10 electors of this ward request an election by 4th June, an election will take place before 6th August.
Otherwise, the Town Council will co-opt a new member to represent the Ward.
Tenders are invited for the Town Maintenance contract managed by Monmouth Town Council. Duties will include regular inspection and maintenance of the Drybridge play area, the Town field (next to the Rowing Club), benches owned by Monmouth Town Council, lifebelts, and other duties on an ad hoc basis.
The contract will run from 1st July 2013 until 30th June 2016.
The deadline for the receipt of tenders is 31st May 2013.

This year's Mayor's Spectacular is taking place on Thursday 2nd May, 7pm at HMSG, Monmouth,
A family evening of variety with something for everyone.
The show begins at 7pm, at the Monmouth Haberdashers School for Girls, with tickets at £7 adults, £5 children, being available from Posies Florists in St Thomas' Square, and the Nelson Museum in Priory Street.

Monmouth: Mucky or Magnificent?
The competition starts on April 1st.
Community grants -2012/13 scheme has now been closed for this year.
However, there is now a new scheme, for Larger Community Projects in Monmouth, with closing date of 1st April.
