Applications for the second round of the Community Grants 2023-24 are open!
There is just over £16,500 left in the pot and available to applications from community groups or projects that need financial support.
Community grants are open to any group or project that is based in Monmouth or is for the benefit of residents in Monmouth. All applicants must demonstrate how their project or group adheres to the 7 Wellbeing Goals stipulated by the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.
The applicant is usually expected to raise at at least 25% of the cost of the project or the equipment through other fund-raising activities, however this round of grants will allow applications for up to 100% of the project costs. This will be determined at the discretion of the Monmouth Town Council People and Places Committee.
If you would like to apply for a community grant, please complete and submit the application form (this opens as a Word Document which needs to be saved) with relevant documentation and submit it either by email to townclerk@monmouth.gov.uk or post to Monmouth Town Council, Shire Hall, Agincourt Square, Monmouth, NP25 3DY.
