Meetings

The Town Council has 3 Committees. These are Finance and Policy, People and Places and Planning. During the year committees set up Working Groups to report to the parent committee on specific projects or matters. Council and committee meetings are open to the public and details of dates and times are displayed on the Town Council notice boards and on the Agendas and Minutes page of this website.

Usually all committee and Full Council meetings are held in the Old Council Chambers but during the COVID-19 pandemic all meetings have been taking place via BT Telephone Conferencing with details on how to dial in listed at the top of the relevant agenda.

Agendas for Committees and Council meetings are published the Tuesday before the meeting is due to take place and is put on the notice board outside the Shire Hall and posted online. Always  double check dates/times on agendas as issued, as the agenda is the over-riding legal summons. Copies of all agendas can be provided to members of public.  Please email townclerk@monmouth.gov.uk to request the same.
