GRANTS ARE OPEN!

 

 

Monmouth Town Council is pleased to announce the second round of Community Grants for 2024-25 is OPEN!

Applications can now be submitted for funding to support a charity or community group that supports Monmouth town or its residents. 

There is £13,500 remaining in the pot for this year and so please get your applications ready.

The deadline for all applications is 15th November 2024.

What are Community Grants?

Each year, the Town Council fund a Community Grants Scheme of up to £25,000 to support community groups, organisations and charities with their work and projects within Monmouth. The fund is open for applications twice a year (March and October) and managed by the People and Places Committee. 

Previous projects have included funding musical equipment for local choirs, running costs of support groups and supporting renovations of local community groups.  There is no limit on the amount that can be requested although the Town Council always strives to help as many organisations as possible throughout the year. 

 

How do we apply?

The Town Council will announce when the grant scheme is open for applications and will provide a closing date that all applications must be submitted by. 

All applicants will need to consider the criteria of the grants before completing an application form setting out the aims and costs of the project or works being carried out. 

Once the application form and the supporting documentation are ready, they should be submitted via email to townclerk@monmouth.gov.uk or by hand to Town Council Office at the Shire Hall.
